Astrolinks

Tasks and goals that keep their own time

Write down what you plan to do. Astrolinks counts the time each task takes from your day, and shows your goals filling in as you work.

The Tasks page with four tasks, the time so far on each, a task from a manager, and three goals with their progress as dots
The app, with example data.

Tasks that know how long they took

Add a task with a keyword, like “Halcyon invoices”. Time on any window whose title or web address has that word counts toward it, worked out on your computer. The task says how long it has taken so far, and how much of that was today.

Give it a client and a due date, put it on today’s plan, and tick it off when it is done. Done tasks fold away.

Goals you can see

Set a goal for each day or each week: three hours for a client today, a task done by 17:00, or 35 hours this week. Each goal is a short row of dots that fills in as you work. No charts to read.

A morning plan, if you like

Turn on Morning plan and Astrolinks asks what you are working on at the start of your shift. Tick what you plan to do. Anything not done shows under Tomorrow in your summary. It is off unless you turn it on.

Tasks from your manager

If you are on a team, your manager can send you tasks and goals from the Team inbox, with a note and a due date. When you mark one done, you can add a note for them. They see that it is done and your note. Nothing else about your day.

Your own tasks stay on your computer. They go into a report only when you send one, and you can leave them out of any report. Tasks are on every plan, Free included.

Questions about tasks and goals

Do my clients see my tasks?

Only if you include them in a report you send. Tasks stay on your computer otherwise.

What does my manager see when I finish a team task?

That it is done, when, and the note you add. Never your time or activity.

Are Tasks part of the free plan?

Yes. Tasks, goals and the morning plan are never limited.
